Evergreen content
Evergreen content stays useful long after it is published, so it can be shared again.
How-to guides, definitions and checklists age slowly. News, event coverage and seasonal offers do not. Reposting evergreen pieces keeps your best work in front of new followers who never saw it.
Evergreen content in practice
Space the repeats out, vary the opening line, and check the facts before each reshare. If a guide has become outdated, update it or retire it.
Good candidates are posts that still make sense with no date attached. Remove references to a season, a price or a feature that may change. When you repost, check the link still works, and retire pieces that no longer reflect how you do things.
Evergreen content in SocialPatra
SocialPatra has an Evergreen Posts page for recycling older posts automatically. A post is either evergreen or recurring, never both.
