Content calendar
A content calendar is a dated plan of what you will post, where and when.
It can be a spreadsheet or a tool, and it shows gaps, clashes and balance at a glance: too many promotions in one week, nothing on a key date, or the same format five times in a row.
Content calendar in practice
Plan the fixed points first, such as launches, events and holidays, then fill the rest with recurring themes. Leave a few open slots for timely posts. A calendar that is never updated is worse than none, so review it weekly.
Include the details a team needs: account, format, owner, status and link to the final asset. When each post shows who is responsible and what is missing, reviews take minutes instead of a meeting.
Content calendar in SocialPatra
SocialPatra shows scheduled posts on a month calendar, and dragging a post to another day moves it while keeping its time in the workspace time zone.
