SocialPatra posts to Facebook Pages. It does not post to personal profiles, and it does not post to Facebook Groups, because Meta retired the Groups publishing API in 2024.

Connect your Facebook Pages
- Start the connection. In your workspace, choose to connect Facebook. You are sent to Facebook to sign in.
- Allow access. SocialPatra asks to see your Pages, publish to them and read their engagement. You never give SocialPatra your Facebook password.
- Pick the Pages. Choose the Pages to add. Each Page you add is a separate place to schedule to. You need a role on the Page that lets you publish.
How to schedule a Facebook post
- Open the composer and pick a Page. Write the post in the composer and choose the Page it should go to.
- Add text, photos, a video, a Reel or a link. A post can be text, a link, several photos, one video or one Reel.
- Pick the date and time. Choose when the post should go live and save it.
SocialPatra keeps the post and publishes it to your Page when the time arrives.

Why not personal profiles or Groups
Facebook does not let third-party tools publish to personal profiles. It also retired the Groups publishing API in April 2024. A Page is the place where scheduled posting is possible, so SocialPatra supports Pages only.
