A/B testing
A/B testing means publishing two versions of a post to see which one performs better.
You change one thing, such as the hook, the image or the call to action, and keep everything else the same. Each version goes to a similar audience at a similar time, and you compare a single metric, usually engagement rate or clicks.
A/B testing in practice
The test only tells you something if the change is small and the sample is big enough. Two posts with a handful of views each prove nothing, and a test that changes the image, the text and the posting time at once cannot say which change mattered. Run one test per question and write down the result so the next post starts from it.
Record each test in a simple log with the question, the two versions, the dates and the result. Over a few months the log becomes your own guide to what your audience responds to, which is worth more than any general advice.
