A draft is a saved post that is not scheduled or published yet.
Drafts let you start an idea, collect assets and get feedback without any risk of it going live. They are also where AI-written text lands before a human edits it.
Draft in practice
Review old drafts regularly. A pile of forgotten drafts usually hides good ideas, or outdated ones that should be deleted.
Give drafts clear names, such as the campaign and the date, so they are easy to find later. Move a draft forward only when the text, media, links and account choices are all checked. If you work with a team, agree who may edit a draft and who may publish it.
