Auto-posting
Auto-posting means a tool publishes your content to social accounts without you pressing post.
The content may come from a schedule you set, a recurring rule, an RSS feed or a bulk upload. The tool holds a connection to your account and publishes at the chosen time through the platform’s official interface.
Auto-posting in practice
Automation removes repetition, not judgement. Publishing the same text everywhere at once, or letting a feed post without any review, is how accounts end up with off-topic or broken posts. Keep a person responsible for what goes into the automation, and check the results now and then.
Before turning any automation on, decide who owns it. Someone should read the first few automated posts, fix the template, and pause it when a campaign ends or a link breaks. Automation that nobody owns tends to keep publishing long after it stopped being correct.
